With balanced Marma Points, one experiences a sense of peace, contentment, and well being that goes beyond physical relaxation. Through this, your inner intelligence is able to flow more freely and truly begin the healing process.

Dr. Cravatta has created a unique method to remove subtle and physical imbalances. Marma Points are vital energy points that originate in the 2nd layer of the etheric body – Pranamaya Kosha. They are connected to the Chakra and Nadi systems. They are at the junction point of our bodies and our consciousness. They become blocked from physical trauma and strain, as well as emotional and mental stresses. When this occurs, our own vital life force is not able to flow in a balanced manner. This will result in muscle tightness throughout the body and lead to vertebra misalignment.[/twocol_one][twocol_one_last]At the beginning of the treatment, Dr. Cravatta will feel your pulse to determine where the imbalances lie. Then she uses a combination of clearing the Marma Points, working on Kosha Marma Points, and gentle chiropractic care. The treatment is 55 minutes – if you have a deep imbalance, you may need a longer treatment time.

Most people find that this form of body work assists them in releasing old physical trauma and cellular memory. It is deeply relaxing and many will go into a meditation state during the therapy. As the Marma Points are cleared, it has a soothing effect on your nervous system and brings balance to your brain wave patterns.

You may choose to have a Kosha Marma intensive with treatments done for several days in a row. It is also highly effective to do these treatments during Pancha Karma therapy.
